April 1st week:

  1. Gulliver’s Games received a $1.5 million investment
  2. Devolver Digital acquires indie game developer Doinksoft
  3. Nodwin Gaming acquires a majority stake in full-service live media company Branded
  4. Turkish developer Gleam Games receives $1m investment
  5. Savvy Games Group acquires Scopely for $4.9 billion
  6. Aqua has a partnership with Polygon, a casual games studio, a Web3 player profile and an embedded marketplace.
  7. Turkish gaming VC firm Ludus Ventures leads $3 million investment round in Paxie Games
  8. ZeniMax acquired TES Online co-developer Nemesys Games
  9. Web3 accelerator Delphi Labs raised $13.5M in a funding round led by Jump Crypto

April 2nd week:

  1. Bitkraft raises $221 million for second token fund
  2. MPL’s game development unit Mayhem Studios raises $20 million
  3. Soccer Manager creator Invincibles raises $1.2M for two new games
  4. Hadi rebrands to Grand-Attic, raises $5.3 million in funding round led by Makers Fund
  5. Sega agrees to snap up Rovio for $776.2M
  6. Social Future raised $6M to build AI-driven virtual social platform
  7. Paxie Games raised $3M in a funding round led by Ludus Venture
  8. AI gaming platform Skillprint raised $3.5M in pre-seed funding
  9. Reactional Music raises $2.05 million in pre-series A funding round

April 3rd week:

  1. Milky Tea attracts Aonic investment
  2. “Blacktop Hoops” studio announces $5.1M funding round
  3. Epic Games acquired Aquiris, a Brazilian mobile game maker it will be called as Epic Games Brasil
  4. Karate Combat raised $18M to fund its mixed reality, Web3-enabled sports league ahead of its May 10 $KARATE token launch
  5. TreesPlease Games unveils LongLeaf Valley eco game and $8M funding
  6. Elixir Games and Square Enix announced today that they’re partnering up to help boost Web3 visibility and adoption among gamers
